We had celebrated a rainy Christmas and, again, a rainy new year! Isn't it vain? The rain had already spoiled everything last Yule. And now, it is still raining as if forever. We've had enough! We could never take it any longer.
This has been a very long rainy week. I guess the rain just doesn't have a plan of going away. Maybe we'll be stocked this way through the next week still. But who knows? Mr. Sun might be moved by compassion and ask Mrs. Rain to leave.
Flash floods have been reported that it's been blatantly destroying most of the crops in our community. That should be very good news for "rain", huh? Thank God that we're situated in an elevated area. It's been news too that there were also a lot of residents from downtown affected by the flood. That's why they needed to evacuate to safer place—like elementary schools.
A situation like this is never new to us anymore. It has been like this whenever a very long rain visits, and pouring hard invariably. But the local government has always been doing their part as best as they could however; stretching out comfort to the grieving hearts, easing the pain.
Looking forward to a bright, sunshiny and vibrant tomorrow! =)
