End the Week!


You must have been working like a dog for the whole week. So better have a rest this weekend. It's the only time when you can break away from your workdays. Do you know that by just simply lying in your bed but not sleeping could already mean rest? Really!

You may try yoga too. Enroll in some yoga lessons. Or try it by yourself. Most yoga techniques are easy to follow yet very healthy to both your body and spirit.

A better rest can be achieved if you don't only do it physically but also mentally and, perhaps, spiritually. You can do it all by simply lying in your bed or couch. Be sure that you're comfortable with your position. Then try to calm down your mind. Clear out all the negative, stressful thoughts. Then focus on your breathing. Inhale. Count from 1 to 4 while doing it. And breathe out while you are counting again, now from 1 to 8. Now, while doing this, do some reaffirmations of the positive, practical, and possible things you want to do or to be. Do it for about 10 minutes. The results could be very satisfactory at the end.

You should rest like you have all the luxury of time. Sometimes we just all need to. =)
